Have you ever wished you could worship God in a child-friendly way, for people of all ages? This informal yet structured worship service is for you and all ages!

Because it is around dinner time, come, worship, eat, meet other families, and go home in time for an early bed-time.

Because God isn't just for Sunday Mornings!

Regional Ministry and Our Mission

Not only are we two congregations worshipping as one, the Shared Ministry participates in regional ministry through MINC (Ministry in the North Country), a cooperative parish founded to combine the resources of many small parishes for more effective outreach.

Through MINC, we share Sunday School supplies, participate in community assistance to the poor and others in need, and we get together quarterly to celebrate our ministries, encourage one another and provide accountability.

Locally, St. Andrew's is a founding member of EMMA (Evans Mills Ministerial Association), as well. Inspired by the example of lay people in our churches, the clergy in our village meet for ecumenical ministry and planning. For example, our churches sponsor an ecumenical release time program at Evans Mills Primary School, celebrated the Week for Christian Unity with a Taize service, and we support each other in prayer, fellowship, and Bible reading together.

The Shared Ministry is a community of people and a partnership of churches who seek to put God first in our lives, through worship, prayer, study, outreach to the community and sponsoring special events.

Each person has something unique to offer. That is the essense of Christian community, and scripture encourages us to find out what those special gifts are, for our mutual benefit. It's kind of like a treasure hunt through the experience of prayer and interaction in Christ. Loving God is also loving our neighbor.

Whether you come to pray with us once or twice, take part in an event or service, or you come to stay, you are our neighbor, and you are welcome here.
